Winter Veggie Shares for Refugee Families

This winter, New Leaf farm partnered with Refugee Services of Texas to provide donations of fresh, organic produce to displaced families in our community. The City of Austin's Food Justice Mini-Grant allowed our farm to join the city-wide initiative to improve healthy food access and support communities negatively impacted by food-related injustice.

Since January, our team has provided 10 shares each week to refugee and immigrant families in our community. We are committed to continuing this partnership and increasing access to high-quality produce for displaced families this Spring season!
